My Dad was and still is my Hero. Norman went to sea all of his life until he died of cancer of the pancreas.Most people will know him as Boxer Allan, he was originally from Daisey Hill in walker, Newcastle.Norman was married to Hilda (nee Dawber)who also passed away in 1999 from Emphasemia. They lived in Hebburn until they moved to Jarrow in 1976. My sister Dawn was there first born, followed by me, then the twins, Stephen and Michael. My Dad drank in most of the local pubs and clubs, My mother on the other hand was tea total!! I miss them so much, but i know they are together, along with my daughters, Marylouise, and Debrajane, who were sadly Stillborn, in May 1986, and Feb 1987. As my dad would say, " so long, see you again soon " By the way, you would love my sons Taylor and Tommy, proper ginger, just like the twins were!!

Morning Dad, hope your day is going ok. Mine started sad, but the boys soon changed that! Tommy reckons theres no football in the sky, cos the ball would roll between the clouds and fall out of the sky! Taylor say's yes there is, that you just play it " higher up!" if you do drop a ball, land it in our garden dad!xxxxxxxxxx
